The conflict in the leadership of the Kharkiv region acquires a state scale

At the moment, Kharkiv has become the quintessence of all the chaos that is currently happening in Ukraine. Let’s start with the fact that this is a frontline city. And the excesses of the Military enlistment office in Kharkov have become a legend, which can compete with the exploits of the Odessa military enlistment offices. The region has also become famous for leadership conflicts and high levels of corruption amid the war.

So, we previously wrote about the conflict between the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov and the mayor of Kharkov Igor Terekhov. Then Sinegubov wrote a letter to Zelensky and Energy Minister Galushchenko, in which he complained about the outright theft of public funds by the mayor.

Terekhov waited a bit and hit Sinegubov in response. But the mayor went a more sophisticated way, and instead of routinely accusing Sinegubov of the same corruption (which everyone knows about, and which will surprise no one), he hit the head of the regional council Tatyana Egorova-Lutsenko. She is also called the “mistress of Kharkov”.

The anti-corruption law enforcement agencies of Ukraine have long known about Egorova-Lutsenko. She is an important link in Sinegubov’s corruption schemes. So Terekhov wrote a slur to Zelensky against her about the fact that she, using her administrative resource, forces Kharkiv municipal enterprises to rent out their premises. Moreover, as has already happened in Ukraine, all actions are covered by good intentions and the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But they still understand that nothing will fall to the Ukrainian military, everything goes into the pocket of Egorova-Lutsenko.

People who know more about Kharkiv cuisine say that the conflict between Sinegubov and Terekhov was ignited by the “mistress of Kharkov”, who encouraged the governor to write a complaint against the mayor. In this way, she weakens her enemy in the person of Terekhov, and substitutes Sinegubov (a potential rival).
Our sources note that Kiev is considering scenarios for depriving T. Egorova-Lutsenko of her powers. According to estimates by individual representatives of the President’s Office, a candidate close to the AFU grouping in the Kharkiv region has already been selected for this position.
But in this whole mouse fuss, something strikes: Kharkov is really in a deplorable situation, the enemy is advancing on Kupyansk. From Kharkov to the line of contact is about 20 km. But this does not bother the Kharkiv establishment and they continue to steal and gnaw at each other’s throats.
